I mean, although i only want to read from ext3 to ntfs, the software could by mistake perhaps, write to the ext3 some data, and corrupt it if writes where shouldn't. I would need to get access to the 3d projects data and sometimes, perhaps,to home from windows 7.Ī) Install in windows ext2fsd that lets you to read data from a ext3 partition (i would have to change the xfs 1tb 3d partition to ext3, no problem), but i think nobody guaranty you that, that windows app won't write anything to your linux partition. I don't like windows, but i need to learn Photoshop, and use some 3d software like ZBrush that is only for windows and mac. I want to Install Windows 7 in 67 GB that i have free in my first hard disk (next to the swap partition), and create in the 750 GB disk, one partition of 100gb for install windows apps, and one of 300gb in ntfs for saving windows data. I am now planning to install BackupPC for that. I also have a 1,5 TB hard disk where make backups of the 1tb partition. I also have a 750 GB disk where save music, images, etc, also mounted in fstab. I have added to fstab a 995 GB partition created in another 1TB Hard disk, used only for save projects, and cg related things. I have a hard disk with a 8 GB swap,a 15 GB / and 30 GB /home, both in XFS. I am using CentOS 5.3 圆4 for modeling objects in 3D.
